Real Estate is about relationships and you need to know what Virginia Law has to say about your business contacts.  This course will provide a detailed guide to real estate licensees on important issues dealing with agency in Virginia.  Some topics to be covered in this course include: brokerage relationships, agency disclosure, confidentiality, transactions, and agency in the Virginia Code of Ethics.  It will engage students in critical thinking activities and encourage group discussion.

This course provides 3 hrs Real Estate Agency CE credits and 3 hrs Real Estate Related credits.

This course provides 3 hrs Virginia Agency Law SPLE credits.

Timing

This course is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  A lunch break is scheduled from Noon - 1 p.m.to allow students an opportunity to leave the building to purchase lunch.  Students are only permitted to miss 15 minutes of instruction per module. Students missing more than 15 minutes will be disqualified for credit.

Trumbull, Amy

Amy Trumbull’s successful real estate career began in Northern Virginia with Long & Foster Real Estate, Inc. in 1999. In 2015, Amy and her husband relocated to the Charlottesville area where Amy joined Long & Foster’s Historic Downtown Sales Office as an Associate Broker. 

Amy holds designations as a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and as a Graduate of the REALTOR® Institute (GRI). In 2016, Amy served on Long & Foster’s Central Virginia/Richmond Region Advisory Board. Amy has also served as the Vice-Chair and then the Chair of CAAR’s Professional Development Group from 2018-2019. Amy was honored to receive the CAAR REALTOR® Ethics in Action of the Year Award in 2018. As a Virginia Real Estate Board Licensed Instructor, Amy teaches Post-Licensing, Continuing Ed and GRI classes. 

Cancellation requests, written, will be accepted through close of business eight days preceding the GRI Module. All paid tuition other than a $25 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit will be refunded. No refunds will be given for cancellations made after the close of business on that day. Cancellation requests will only be handled through the office that handled your registration.
