Scooter started Burgess Inspections, Inc. in 1993 as a single inspector home inspection company. Scooter began his career as an electrician in 1975 and operated his own electrical contracting company for eight years. Scooter has served in many leadership roles in the inspection industry. He has been an ASHI member since 1993, is past President of the Virginia Association of Home Inspectors and President Elect of Central Virginia ASHI.
